Direct care activities are delegated by the Registered Nurse and consistent with the Maryland Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act. Direct care includes activities involving the care and nutrition of patients, provision of direct observation, and transportation of patients and documentation of those activities.QualificationsEducation and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Two years as a CNA, with recent (within the past 12 months) hospital experience.
- Currently certified as a CNA by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
